NBA player Delante West may now have a job! At Regency furniture's stock room
The Boston Celtics player first made headlines after filliong out an application for Home Depot, and while most though he was joking, his latest employment shows he is no comedian.
On Wednesday, West tweeted that he was applying for a position at Regency Furniture Showrooms, a furniture chain in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., because he "need[s] a second job to stay afloat during the lockout."
Now it seems Delonte is no longer unemployed,

| On June 26, 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri, 19-year-old Quintin Moss was killed in a drive-by shooting while allegedly dealing drugs on a street corner. The conviction was based largely on the testimony from Robert Fitzgerald, a white career criminal, who was at the scene at the time of the murder. He testified that he saw three black men in the car when shots were fired and that Griffin shot the victim through the window of the car with his right hand. This was Griffin’s attorney’s first murder trial and he did not challenge the testimony even though Griffin was left-handed. He also failed to bring forth an alibi witness who was with Griffin at the time of the murder. |

2 Broke Girls

This would be the other new sitcom with Whitney Cummings’s name on it — co-creator in this case. (She’s got to be the busiest vagina-joke writer in Hollywood!) “2 Broke Girls” will join CBS’s other Monday night comedies; like “Whitney,” it has just enough cheap laughs to merit a look. Kat Dennings stars as Max, a young, jaded waitress in a greasy Brooklyn diner that somehow evokes the good old days of “Alice”: The Mel here is a leering Russian fry cook named Oleg (Jonathan Kite), and the other waitresses keep getting fired for kissing grits or whatever.
In walks new waitress Caroline (Beth Behrs), an Upper East Side debutante left penniless after her father is busted for a Ponzi scheme of Madoff-ian proportions. For sitcom’s premise sake, Kat reluctantly offers Caroline a place to stay, and before you know it we’re watching a lukewarm revamp of “The Odd Couple.”

James Ellis, 18, said he killed Alami Gotip because she had been "moaning at him" over his failure to make garlic bread for their dinner.
Somewhat in his defense, garlic bread is delicious, but not THAT delicious.

A video that apparently shows a Metrobus driver shoving a passenger out of a bus and onto the ground has been making the rounds on the Internet since the holiday weekend, prompting an investigation by Metro officials
In the video, which was posted by a blogger on a video-sharing Web site over the Labor Day weekend, it appears that the passenger tries to board the bus and asks for a ride to the next stop; it is unclear whether he is prepared to pay. The driver then asks the man to get off the bus. When the man doesn’t exit, the driver pushes the man out.
Certain key facts are missing from the video, such as when and where the video was shot, who shot it, and the route number of the bus, making it difficult to identify the driver.

T.I. released on Wednsday, is hemmed up on Thursday and back in costody on Friday( today)
The rapper's early release from an 11-month prison term lasted just a day, with federal agents taking T.I. back into custody Thursday after prison officials questioned how he traveled from an Arkansas prison to an Atlanta halfway house.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was locked up behind the high walls of the U.S. Penitentiary in Atlanta Friday, according information posted in the Bureau of Prison's online inmate locator.
The popular hip-hop artist had walked out of the Federal Correctional Center in Forrest City, Arkansas, on Wednesday morning, 10 months after he began serving a sentence for violating his parole on a gun conviction. He had been expected to complete the last weeks of his sentence in a community service center, or halfway house, in Atlanta.
His criminal defense lawyer Steve Sadow told CNN that T.I. was removed from the halfway house to a "different facility" Thursday evening.
